Casino Rewards Network Says No to Advatage Players - part 2

Published by Steve Briggs under Casino Gambling

by Steve Briggs

I mentioned that these players only grind out a few dollars and that is true for the majority of them but they also have every bit as much a chance of being a big winner as the next guy, and inevitably their sheer numbers alone will undoubtedly take their toll on the casino bottom line.

The real damage done in paying these players is it sets precedent which will have those undesireable type of players increase to such numbers that what is now an out-of-hand situation turn into a horrible disaster for the casinos. Instead of gaining loyal customers the casinos, all online casinos, would see gamblers jumping from one bonus to the next like herds of locusts and when the good grazing was gone so would be the players that these bonus offers were created to aquire. Therefore not only defeating the whole purpose of offering a sign-up bonus but it actually would be working against that desired result as it would teach players to jump from one spot to the next, the exact opposite of what was sought.

I personally don’t think it would be a bad thing for the legitimate casinos to get away from the sign-up bonus because it does create so much controversy. It does take comps away from what the legitimate player could be enjoying and is the entire motivation for a segment of opportunists to exist which otherwise would be somewhere else mooching freebies. They are taking away from the legitimate enthusiasts of the hobby.

If the casinos would put that sign-up bonus money towards such endeavors as increasing loyalty rewards and existing player bonuses it stands to reason the controversy over play-through requirements would end because so would the need for their very existence. I have lobbied for this approach for years and would very much like to see it that way. Reward those deserving and the casino not put itself in a position for parasites to feed on its blind sides.

However the casinos believe that if they can get a player to come in and try them that their payout percentages are so good that the player wil be impressed enough to want to come back and play again. The only way to get people to come in however and try online gambling is to offer them the chance to gamble using somebody else’s money, namely the casino’s dime in this instance. The casino doesn’t mind putting up the money but they want in return an honest effort by the new player to try out the casino. If the casino states upfront they will not fall victim to such tactics as are seen from bonus chasers, then they are stating they they won’t let their legitimate players pay any further price for the actions of a group of people who have no honorable intentions in respect to the spirit in which the bonus was offered. Frankly I don’t see where anybody with legitimate intent stands to get hurt? Certainly not more often than they would if the bonus requirements were increased to a point where the casino doesn’t have as much risk in losing the free money they are bleeding out.

Everything else aside, it doesn’t take a genius to figure out that if you just played a little deeper into the game than quitting just when you hit the minimum play-through requirements, that you wouldn’t have to worry about being accused of this issue. The major reason behind the complaints voiced is that they are coming from bonus chasers who as I mentioned are seeking to play the bare minimum and then cash out whatever small amount they were able to hedge. Any extra playing risks their losing what small financial gain they have made.

Online Poker Benefits

Published by Rama under Casino Gambling

by Rama

Online games enable you to play games sitting at one place even at your home. But in fact there are a number of other advantages to choosing online play. The Internet continues to evolve and create more entertainment options almost on a daily basis. So it comes as no surprise that some of your favorite casino games can now be found in online casino. The continually growing number of online establishments offers poker rooms 24/7, all inclusive game selection and a wider range of wager options to fit every budget.

Due to the fact that there are so many different online casinos featuring Poker rooms, there can be a plethora of different types of games to choose from. The result is lowered betting minimums and smaller rake fees for the player so that the range of wager is enormously widened to include all types of bettors.

There are several differences between the traditional form of Poker playing and participating in an online Poker game in a virtual casino. The big difference is that there is a lack of the physical interaction that is so vital to a great Poker game. All kinds of tournament play, including the popular Sit and Go tournaments, are constantly available with all stakes and sizes. Multiple tabling is another feature that allows the player to sit in on several games at once. Players are to get in many more hands in the same amount of time by moving from screen to screen.

The benefits of online poker expand to encompass the game play itself. Poker is one of the important games. The players have a better chance of success in an online casino, particularly with online Poker games, as they are able to maintain more than one hand at a time. The reason for the popularity of online Poker is its simplicity as it is very simple to understand and play around the guidelines of this game.

Players are able to sharpen their skills in practice mode, or by using a free promotional balance supplied by many online poker sites. Players are also often allowed to enter into the game with more reasonable bets and are often able to catch tips and explanation with the casino’s website features. This is an especially attractive feature for those who are new to the game, but even seasoned pros need to practice or test out strategies sometime.

Casino Rewards Network Says No to Advatage Players - part 3

Published by Steve Briggs under Casino Gambling

by Steve Briggs

If you are one of these kind of players the terms seek to discourage, and you still choose to play at at Casino Rewards site and you try to beat the system in an obvious method, expect to not get paid. The casino is being quite upfront about this matter and in fact is giving away the recipe for not being accused, simply play a little deeper than the minimums.

Advantage players are very savvy and know the casinos do not want their business but they choose to force the issue because it is the only chance they have to enter into a gambling situation and have a positive expectation. It is already understood that a casino cannot stay in business if it is giving out better than it receives, and players choose to give up that percentage the house has over them in order to have a place to go gamble and know they will be paid when they win.

What these kind of terms really hurt is the casino because it will be taken wrong by a percentage of people, and legitimate players who read about these issues and have not yet been involved with online gambling long enough to realize the casino is in fact saving money that can be given to them, will not sign up to play there. Those players lose out because Casino Rewards have been the top of my reputable list for nearing ten years and I’ve had only one complaint in all that time and that one was due to the player misunderstanding when they were to get credited for a high hand bonus at the poker site. That’s an outstanding record in my book, by any standards actually, but especially when you know the incompetence, greed and over-indulged egos that lurk out there in the virtual casino world.

These are casinos time-proven to pay even the biggest of amounts of money, such as the recent winner located in Finland who was paid a whopping five and a half million dollars from BlackjackBallroom on a fifty cent slot machine bet that resulted in the jackpot.

If I can trust Casino Rewards in knowing they pay those kind of jackpot amounts, then I think I can trust them to be able to look at my proven play history and determine I am not a bonus chaser. I do not deposit and play the minimum, only then to cash out. The only people who will have such reason to complain about these terms are those who are first time players that have accepted a bonus and then played the minimum required wagers to cash out. If that isn’t the definition of an advantage player then what would be? The casinos are making it very clear they don’t want this kind of player, they are not welcome, and that they are not going to have how they run their business dictated to them by a group of opportunists. If you choose to call the casino unfair for making these terms and conditions clearly available to be known before any money exchanges hands, then so be it.

However legitimate players with a savvy of online gambling will not find such terms threatening and enjoy having the confidence in knowing they are playing at an online casino in the network of the likes of Blackjack Ballroom which as mentioned just paid out five and a half million dollars. This was reported on Fox news the month of April, 2008 and is a matter of public record.

One last thing, Casino Rewards, the network accused of trying to avoid paying the small withdrawals by those profiled as not accepting the bonus in spirit given, is the same network that just recently bought the failed network of casinos that included Golden Reef, Challenge, Nostalgia and Music City, who closed their doors while still having many of their player’s money. Casino Rewards announced when they bought the failed network that all outstanding debt to the players would be paid by them thus ensuring nobody got hurt. Rather an odd act of charity to come from some place willing to stoop to cheating bonus chasers out of a few dollars, wouldn’t you say? Or is it that Casino Rewards has taken their stance based on principal, rather than on trying to save a few dollars?

New Games for Online Casinos

Published by Steve Briggs under Casino Gambling

by Steve Briggs

New games keep life spicy for those who like to play the online casinos. Sure gamblers have their steadfast favorites but we all like to try something new and for gamblers it is no different. Playing online makes it much easier to try the new offerings however. For one thing the new games come just about every month if playing at a Microgaming software powered casino compared to perhaps once a year at land based casinos.

In fact I don’t recall the last time I saw a new slot machine in the three reel version at land casinos although they must by now be feeling the pressure to start bringing in new machines considering the on line competition continues to roll out new games at a rate of about three a month. Online casinos powered by Microgaming now have as many as three hundred and fifty games. It is unlikely you could find any casino in Las Vegas or Atlantic City which can boast they have over three hundred and fifty separately individual games of chance to offer their customers.

Many of those games are slot machines of course and they have so many different means of getting money back to the players that it would take an entire article just to list all of them but suffice to say that there is probably a slot machine with features to fit almost any taste that favors playing the one armed bandits. This is not to say however that the online games are limited in other areas because that would be a very false statement. One online casino powered by Microgaming has fifty versions of blackjack, a number no land casino ever dreamed of being able to offer.

The new games also include new versions of the old favorite table and poker games as well as slot machines. Just recently in June of 2008, Microgaming released yet another version of Roulette which is based on the European rules but has improved graphics and sounds that include the sound of the crowd as the ball is put into play, the metallic sound of the ball hitting the wheel and many other small details that had been until now overlooked.

Also just recently released is a game that is an example of a trend that is increasing in popularity where an old favorite slot game is updated to include all the new gadgets and gizmos that have since been invented to increase the attractiveness of slot gaming. This game is fashioned after the original Big Kahuna video slot game and this one includes a bonus screen which is actually like a slot machine inside a slot machine.

Each new monthly addition of games at online casinos seem to push the boundaries of those that had preceded them so there is a never-ending supply of new games at Microgaming powered online casinos.
